Who is Echo Dare for?
Echo Dare is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is a local pass-and-play game and does not independently verify the age of everyone using a shared device.
Where can I install Echo Dare?
The first Google Play and App Store releases are coming soon. Official, app-specific download links will appear on the Echo Dare page when each store listing is ready.
Why can’t Echo Dare use the microphone?
Use the Open app settings button shown after a denial, then allow microphone access for Echo Dare. Return to the game and tap Try this turn again. If the settings page cannot open, the App shows the manual path for your platform. Echo Dare asks for access only when recording is needed.
Why does the game say my clip is too quiet?
Move to a quieter spot, hold the phone about a hand’s width from the speaker, and speak clearly for the whole phrase. Avoid covering the microphone. Then record the turn again.
I cannot hear playback. What should I check?
Turn up media volume and check whether sound is being sent to headphones, a Bluetooth speaker, or another audio device. Disconnecting that device and replaying the clip often resolves unexpected routing.
How do sharing and winner cards work?
Sharing starts only when you choose a Share or Invite action. Home-screen Invite friends opens your device’s share sheet with a prepared text invitation and Echo Dare link, not a voice clip or player names; it does not start an online game. Other Share actions can include a clip or winner card. You select a destination or cancel, and Echo Dare does not upload the content to Kro Studios.
Where can I change advertising privacy choices?
Open Settings & privacy inside Echo Dare. When advertising privacy choices are required for your region, a button appears there so you can review them. The same screen always links to the full Echo Dare privacy policy.
How do I remove local game data?
Use your device’s app-storage controls or uninstall Echo Dare. Your operating system may retain eligible settings or progress in a device backup if backup is enabled.
